"We had an incredible day hunting for truffles and cooking with the team at Mugello & Tuscany di Carmen Badiali! Our tartufai, Mauro, and his sweet dog Gina (who is very good at her job!!) took us on a walk through the woods where we found many delicious truffles and also mushrooms. We then had a wonderful experience with a local chef, Matteo, learning the art of homemade pasta. We made several different kinds of pasta - gnocchi, tortelli and tagliatelle- that Matteo cooked up into an absolutely delicious meal with the truffles and mushrooms we found in the morning. It was hands down some of the best and freshest food we have had on our vacation to Italy. The entire team was so kind and took very good care of us. All in all an amazing day - we would highly recommend this!

"We had the best time ever doing this truffle hunt! Carmen and our truffle hunter were so accommodating. Carmen picked us up at San Piero Station herself, and was so helpful and provided us with a lot of truffle knowledge. Achille (the dog) found around 10 truffles for us! After, we ate an incredible gourmet platter of cold cuts, cheese, and truffles. The farm we were on was gorgeous. It was a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you Carmen!"

"We had an amazing day with Mugello &Tuscany di Carmen. We were welcomed by our host Carmen, our guide Mauro and the star of the day, the truffle dog Gina! It is in a lovely setting and you can stay here also because it is a bed and breakfast too . We had a very nice walk into the woods, where Genia immediately started to find the treasured truffles. Our chef Cristian taught us how to make pasta and gnocchi from scratch. We all participated in the meal preparation. It was delicious. This is an experience you will cherish. If you are driving back to Florence be sure to take the Bolognese road. Amazing views of Tuscany."
